About the Convention- WBC2K7 The convention was attended by about 250 delegates ranging in age from a few years to several decades. The delegates came from several countries. A large delegation led by Pt Mange Ram Sharma and representing several states came from India. As always, the convention provided family oriented fun and learning experience for the entire family. It provided an opportunity for the delegates to meet famous industrialists, philosophers, religious leaders, artists, and science and technology experts from many parts of the world. There were inspirational as well as educative talks and discussions along with cultural performances including music, dances, and a Kavi Sammelan. Special programs were arranged for children and youth. July 6-8 were excellent dates for the entire family. Children were out of school and enjoyed time with family and friends at the convention. The program started at noon with lunch on July 6 and finished on July 8 noon with lunch. The venue: Crowne Plaza, Meadowland, NJ, was an excellent facility with Manhattan skyline view from one side and Passaic river on the other. Manhattan is less than 5 miles away.
